About Benaim x Partners

‘I HAVE A DREAM’ RAVE, 1999

Benaim x Partners, which first established its real estate holdings in the late 1970s, currently owns and operates over $50M in Real Estate throughout Queens and Brooklyn consisting of multifamily, retail, development sites, and triple net leases, in addition to real estate acquisitions. Investing in development opportunities both as a GP and LP, we look for opportunities in exciting communities. Benaim x Partners also operates a holding company with major interests in varied businesses, including real estate brokerage/marketing firm Modern Spaces, Managing Spaces, a property management company, and War Room Partners, after warroom partners, in addition to other companies in various categories.

Benaim x Partners works with high-net-worth individuals, as well as lending institutions, led by 20+ year industry veteran Eric Benaim. Eric had the foresight back in 2005 to understand the untapped market potential in Long Island City and is credited for single-handedly turning LIC into what it is today, "The Fastest Growing Neighborhood in America" according to NY Magazine. His firm Modern Spaces, which has captured and sustained a 70% market share in Long Island City since inception in 2008, has since grown to other markets. Eric has negotiated over $7 Billion in transactions and has been intimately involved in planning over 15 million square feet of residential units (10,000+ apartments), working with some of New York City’s largest developers, institutions, lenders, and property owners, also leading architects and construction companies. His company, comprised of over 100 agents and staff, has locations throughout New York and New Jersey.

Collectively Benaim x Partners’ companies are responsible for annual sales in excess of $1 Billion.

Eric has been honored by thought leaders, elected officials, city agencies and community organizations, including former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, former Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, The YMCA and LIC Partnership, among others. In 2019 Eric was asked by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, along with 70 of the top business and political leaders in New York City, to sign onto a public letter published in The New York Times asking Amazon to reconsider their plans for the proposed HQ2 in Long Island City. Those business leaders included Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon, Morgan Stanley CEO James Gorman, JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes, and Mastercard CEO Ajay Bang, among others. Eric’s insights and expertise are highly valued by media outlets including Fox Business, CNBC, CNN, BBC, NY1, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Crain’s New York Business, Bloomberg, and The Real Deal. He has been also widely published, including in the New York Daily News, Crain’s New York Business and AM NY.
